Tips for best results
- Use heavy blur (40+ pixels) to fully censor faces, license plates, or screen contents that should not be readable.
- Light blur (5–15 pixels) works great for background blur to make subjects pop.
- The blurred image is a NEW file — EXIF data and metadata from the original are stripped automatically.
- Blur is irreversible — anyone receiving the image cannot un-blur the sensitive parts. Safer than redaction with rectangles, which can sometimes be reverse-engineered.
