Drop a PDF file — any number of pages works. Files stay in your browser.

3

4

Download the numbered PDF

Hit Apply — a new PDF with page numbers is generated and ready to download in seconds.

Tips for best results

  • For legal or academic documents, the bottom-center position is the most conventional.
  • Use the “Page X of Y” format when readers need to know total length — reports, manuals, theses.
  • If your PDF starts with a cover or title page, set the starting number to 0 so the first counted page is the actual content.
  • Font size 10–12 is standard for body documents. 14–16 works better for presentations.
  • Page numbers are added as a new layer — they don’t alter the original PDF content underneath.
