How to Create Animated GIFs from Multiple Images Online
Free, step-by-step guide. No signup needed — everything runs in your browser.
1
Open the GIF Maker
Navigate to the tool. No signup, no upload to a server.
2
Upload your frames
Drag and drop multiple images, or click to select. Order matters — the first image is the first frame.
3
Adjust speed and quality
Set frame delay (lower = faster animation) and quality (1 = best, 10 = smaller file). Reorder frames by dragging.
4
Generate and download
Hit Create GIF and wait a few seconds. The encoded GIF is ready for download — ready to share anywhere.
Tips for best results
- 10–20 frames at 100ms delay produces a smooth 1–2 second loop — the sweet spot for social media.
- Quality 1–3 is best for screenshots and simple animations. Quality 5–10 makes much smaller files but adds noticeable dithering on photos.
- Match frame dimensions to avoid weird scaling. Resize images first if they have different sizes.
- GIFs are limited to 256 colors per frame — photo gradients will show banding. For best results, use frames with flat colors or graphics.
- Large GIFs (10+ MB) won’t auto-play on Twitter/X. Keep under 5MB for reliable inline playback on social platforms.
