Case Converter — Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about using Case Converter.
What is the difference between camelCase and PascalCase?
Both capitalize each word after the first, but camelCase keeps the first letter lowercase (myVariableName) while PascalCase capitalizes it too (MyClassName). camelCase is for variables and functions; PascalCase is for classes and types.
Why does Title Case capitalize every word?
Title Case is the strict version used in formal style. Real AP or Chicago title casing also lowercases certain short words (a, an, of, the) but rules vary, so we use the simpler all-caps-first-letter version.
Does the converter handle accented characters?
Yes for case changes (UPPERCASE / lowercase / Title / Sentence). For programming cases (camel / Pascal / snake / kebab / CONSTANT) accents are removed since they are not valid in most identifiers.
Can I convert just part of a document?
Yes — paste only the section you want converted, copy the result back into your document. The tool works on whatever you give it.
Is there a character limit?
No — it works on any length. Conversions are done in your browser, so the only limit is your device memory.
